MACY
Macy was often referred to as the ‘little dog from the Wizard of Oz’.
Tragically, Macy was taken away from us when she was mauled to death.
We and many people who knew her are heart broken.
In Macy’s memory, we are launching a campaign to make dog owners more aware of their responsibilities and to make them more accountable for their actions.
Macy was taken away from us whilst being walked on a lead through a quiet residential street when two out of control, unaccompanied bullmastiffs attacked her from behind. Her injuries were so severe that she died six days later, even though she received 24-hour intensive care in veterinary hospitals.
